I am currently a research scientist at Google Deep Mind. Earlier, I did my PhD at the MIT Media Lab, in the Responsive Environments Group.
In my research, I build new computing systems in various form factors. The application areas fall into many disciplines—smart materials, wearable interfaces, or robotics for medical use.
I enjoy building and designing things that are novel, functional, and beautiful. I strive to make things that are both open source and able to be manufactured in a factory.
I completed an undergraduate degree in Bioengineering at University of Maryland, a master’s in Electrical Engineering at University of Washington, and am now wrapping up my doctorate at the MIT Media Lab.
